Matt has been an active and integral part of the success of Centa for the past 12 years. Appointed as Chief Executive in April 2007, under his leadership Centa has been able to not just survive but thrive through diversification in property development, achieving close to 35% growth. 

Prior to joining Centa, Matt was a business manager for a commercial bank controlling a portfolio of West End businesses.  His day-to-day involvement in credit controlling, ascertaining lending requirements and risk analysis over business proposals gave him an in depth understanding of the SME sector.

In total he has over 18 years of experience within the SME market, with extensive knowledge in establishing new businesses and has supported over 1000 clients and mentored and provided in depth support to over 100 trading businesses.

He has also tendered and won over £1.8 million worth of contracts for the agency and has a great level of experience of not just winning but managing public sector contracts, communicating with the various funding bodies to ensure outcomes and targets have been met.   

Matt also sits on various London economic development boards and is a non-executive director of
Capital Enterprise.
